Come and enjoy a tasty journey!

The French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce organises a tasting of the Beaujolais Nouveau on Thursday, November 21st at the French restaurant L'Ardoise, Thereses Gate 20B, Oslo.

What is the Beaujolais Nouveau?

The Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular “vin de primeur”, fermented for just a few weeks before being released for sale on the third Thursday of November. This “Beaujolais Nouveau Day” was originally one of the most frivolous and animated rituals in the wine world with races to get the first bottles to different markets around the globe. The current release practice is to ship the wine ahead of the third Thursday of November, and release it to the local markets at 12:01 a.m. local time.

Come and taste two of the finest Beaujolais Nouveau wines!

To celebrate this event, Pierre and Quentin, co-founders of L’Ardoise, welcome you to their restaurant and will take you on a convivial and gustative journey. You will be invited to taste two of the finest Beaujolais Nouveau wines served with some of L’Ardoise’s “amuses-bouches”. Pierre, sommelier, will also share with us his expertise in wine tasting.

Please, be aware that the number of registrations is limited (max. 40 guests).

* Please, complete your registration by paying the fee corresponding to your membership situation via Vipps or bank transfer.
