ARCTIC RACE OF NORWAY

We are delighted to welcome the Arctic Race of Norway as a new member of the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.

Arctic Race of Norway is a 4-day road cycling race held every year in August in Northern Norway. Created in 2013, the event is now one of Norway’s prominent sports events.
Thanks to its high level of organizational, media and sporting performance, ARN attracts several Tour de France teams and some of the world’s greatest cycling stars. Thor Hushovd, Norway’s cycling superstar, is proud Ambassador of the event.
ARN combines the local knowledge of Harstad-based company Arctic Sport, and the international expertise of the Tour de France organizer Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO). The event is supported by the two northernmost Counties of Norway, all local municipalities, and the Norwegian Government, justified by the way the event showcases Norway all around the world, and generates spin-offs. The event also brings together companies from Norway’s main business areas, therefore creating strong business opportunities.
