110 executives and experts from Norwegian and French companies, academics, clusters and public organizations attended the French-Norwegian Day 2017 dedicated to the topic “Sustainable Mobility”, organized by the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce on the 19th of October 2017.

We thank both ambassadors H.E.M. Jean François Dobelle, Ambassador of France to Norway, and H.E.M. Considering the significant participation in this event and the good feedbacks’ underlying potential, the CCFN is going to take follow-up actions both in France and Norway. The next action will be to bring a Norwegian Sustainable Mobility delegation to the World Efficiency Forum to be held in Paris (12-14th of December). We will focus on the topic Green mobility, in cooperation with the Norwegian embassy in Paris, the city of Oslo, the Norwegian cluster OREEC and the Norwegian Hydrogen Association.

During the Gala Dinner which closes the French-Norwegian Day, Nexans Norway was awarded the Fransk-Norsk Trophée 2017, valuing this year a French company whose activity in Norway is exceptional compared to the ones they have in other countries. The Fransk-Norsk Trophée is an award given by the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Air France KLM. It rewards a company, an organization or an individual, having contributed in a special way to the development of trade and/or industrial cooperation between the two countries. It is the only award of its kind, which concerns trade between France and Norway.
