Minutes of the French Rentrée 2018
On the 6th of September, the CCFN organized the French Rentrée 2018 in cooperation with Arval, Oslo International Hub, the French embassy in Norway, France Alumni Norvège and the YCO.
This event was the occasion to gather the French and Norwegian community after the summer break around a cocktail specially designed for the occasion by Pernod Ricard Norway and introduce newcomers to the French "ecosystem" in Norway. The guests could also taste the member exhibitors’ different French products: bread and pastries from Le Pain, ice cream from Gioia, sweets and cakes from L’Ardoise, Mediterranean products and olive oils from Olivenlunden 1830, cheese from Galopin and gourmet products and French sandwiches from Sarrazac. Some of the finest French craft was also exposed during this event; jewellery from Pièces Uniques and Christofle silverware from Electi Table.
The French Embassy in Norway, the French Institute, Business France, Atout France, Promosalons, the French School René Cassin and the Chamber itself were introduced to the newcomers.
Finally, a great raffle was held and the luckiest participants won prizes offered by Air France KLM, Grand Hotel, Arval, Radisson Blu Scandinavia, L’Oréal Norge, as well as gifts from the exhibitors.
