The CCFN celebrates its 100 years anniversary!

The CCFN was founded in 1919 in Christiana (Oslo) by French and Norwegian businessmen wishing to strengthen bilateral cooperation. Through the past 100 years, major actors amongst our network of members and partners contributed in positioning the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce as today's prior gateway into the French-Norwegian business and industrial community.

The relation between France and Norway is getting stronger on many subjects such as innovation and climate change. Our centenary will be the opportunity to focus on the future of the bilateral cooperation for the 100 years to come and we wish to participate in “Building a sustainable future together”. All the events will be focused on the values of sustainability, cooperation and transformation. 

For the celebration of our centenary, the students of the French School Les Gobelins created a special logo which highlight all the values that have driven and will drive the CCFN. Tom Goetz’s logo has been selected as he used the symbol of a tree with its roots to represent the evolution of the link between France and Norway, the CCFN’s network and the sustainable development. Many thanks to all the students that have participated in this project.

As a bilateral organization we will hold the 100 years anniversary celebration in both Norway and France.
