The French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (CCFN) organizes a Beaujolais tasting on Thursday November 15th at L'Ardoise.
Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular "vin de primeur", fermented for just a few weeks before being released for sale on the third Thursday of November.
This "Beaujolais Nouveau Day" was orignially one of the most frivolous and animated rituals in the wine world with races to get the first bottles to different markets around the globe. The currrent release practice is to ship the wine ahead of the third Thursday of November, and release it to the local markets at 12:01 am local time.
To celebrate this event, we invite you to taste two of the finest Beaujolais Nouveau wine with some French "amuse-bouches" from L'Ardoise.

Pierre Audren, sommelier and co-owner of the restaurant "L'Ardoise" will share with us his expertise in wine testing in cooperation with Ester Milano, founder of the company "Draw & Tell".
