FDE is a negative carbon energy producer, specialized in the implementation via short circuits of energy recovery and production sites, allowing the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. FDE notably supplies regional players with gas, electricity, heat and CO2, thus replacing imported energy with local, cleaner energy. FDE aims to become a leading independent player in the energy sector in Europe, together with its subsidiary, Cryo Pur.
Cryo Pur was as created in 2015 by Denis Clodic, former director of the Center for Energy and Processes at Mines ParisTech and co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for his contributions to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Group of Experts on climate change) and is specialized in the treatment of biogas and its liquefaction into LBG and Bio-CO2. Capitalizing on 35 years of Research & Development, and French Tech Ambassador at the COP21, Cryo Pur has developed a breakthrough patented technology (backed by 8 major families of international patents), that purifies biogas into Bio-CO2 and Biomethane before liquefying it into LBG.
With the creation of its new subsidiary, Cryo Pur Norge AS, the group is expanding its portfolio in Norway with new LBG and Bio-CO2 production projects it will develop and operate, delivering biomethane as fuel and biomethane for industrial solutions combined with CCSU (Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage)
