With strong ambitions for continued growth and development, we will now strengthen our team, in a newly created position, with an ambitious Financial Controller who can help lift us further.


With us, you will have responsibility in accounting, tax and related areas in the department, in close cooperation with the Accounting Manager, Finance Director, Compliance Officer and the Financial department. You will take ownership of, have an overview of significant items in the financial statements, and be able to answer questions from and assist the Group, the operational operations and the Business Control environment. You will work in teams with talented colleagues in a digital and forward-looking competence environment.


The position is part of a Controller and accounting environment with all functions in-house. The position will report to the company's Finance Director.

CENTRAL WORK TASKS:

  • Responsibility for a qualitative month-end closure and process, including accruals, analysis and assessments. Ensure high quality and efficient processes in connection with month end closing
  • Prepare monthly reporting package and report internally and externally in close collaboration with the Financial Director
  • Be a «go-to person» in accounting and tax / tax matters within the Group
  • Balance sheet reconciliation and quality assurance of accounts
  • Responsible for completing the annual financial statements and preparing tax calculations and tax returns. Contact person for the auditor
  • Contribute to further development of routines, processes and internal control in the finance function. Constantly searching for opportunities for streamlining processes through automation / digitization
  • Answering questions from the Group, Business Controlling and operations
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to reporting and digitization

EXPERIENCE:

  • Education at Bachelor level or similar in economics
  • You have 2-5 years of relevant experience from a similar position - auditing, accounting or controlling
  • Strong accounting technical understanding and knowledge of current law and regulations
  • Good IT and system understanding
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
  • Good skills in Norwegian / English, written and oral
