After 15 years in Norway GDF SUEZ changes name to ENGIE.

From February, GDF Suez goes under a new name and becomes ENGIE.

The name change is an expression of the new corporate ambition of taking an active role in the energy transition. It is also the symbol of a new step following the successful merger of Gaz de France and Suez in 2008.

In the transition to a low carbon energy mix, gas plays a key role. ENGIE will increase its efforts to promote natural gas and LNG to countries, customers and industry as a replacement for higher polluting fuel sources.
