Our program in 2026: Fostering French-Norwegian collaboration for a greener and smarter society
2025 has been a landmark year for the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce and for the development of the bilateral collaboration. Our network continued to grow, our services expanded, and our activities reached unprecedented visibility and impact.
The highlight of the year was undoubtedly the historic visit of President Emmanuel Macron to Norway in June, during which a new bilateral strategic partnership was signed. This agreement provides a strong and forward-looking framework for our priorities in 2026 and confirms the importance of the Chamber’s role in strengthening cooperation between our two countries.
Throughout 2025, we successfully supported companies on both sides of the North Sea:
In Norway, our Team France Export programme helped more than 70 French companies explore or enter the Norwegian market;
In France, our strengthened cooperation with Team Norway in Paris enabled a growing number of Norwegian companies to develop their activities in France;
Our business center is now supporting more than 40 companies expanding in Norway;
We expanded our network with more than 20 new members;
We continued professionalising our team, we diversified our competences, and consolidated the Chamber’s position as a trusted partner for business development, strategic insight and networking.
Looking ahead to 2026
In 2026, we will build on this solid momentum and focus on the priority areas defined by the newly signed bilateral agreement.
We will continue to reinforce cooperation in key traditional sectors: Energy, Decarbonisation (including CCS), Blue economy...
while also expanding into new and fast-growing domains: New Space, AI & Quantum technologies, Nuclear energy (SMR), Defence and advanced industries...
These emerging sectors will create new opportunities for industrial, technological and commercial collaboration between France and Norway — and the CCFN will serve as a platform to connect ecosystems, accelerate dialogue and support concrete projects.
Our activities in 2026
We will continue to organise a rich programme of committees (Human Resources, Energy, Digital, Tax & Finance…) and will keep developing high-quality events together with both Embassies and our partners in the two countries.
Our 2026 agenda will include:
- Major forums,
- Learning expeditions,
- Thematic seminars and webinars,
- Afterworks,
- Food and wine events,
- And several business delegations in both directions.
